Assigment 2: Performance

The performance consist on revealing a hidden drawing in a white T-shirt, corresponding to the images projected on my body with the following video. The final drawing correspond to the final image of the video.

Later, on the second part, some handmade drawings are made in the T-shirt to complete the picture.

So, with the performance I’ve tried to explain the process and basis of my architecture, like the middle way of what I receive from outside, some historic accepted models of consolidated architects and some esthetic aspects I find attractive and I expect my architecture to implement but in my own way, making it different and searching and defining my own style. Some important aspects are light, comfort, neutral colors, simplicity and rhythm.

Then at the second part with my own introduced signs, not related with the previous models of the video, I intend to express the desire of mixing all the previous parts of the architecture. Moreover, I’ve drawn a part of the skyline of NY, the city as a fundamental group of architecture, dependent on the context of the circumstances.

Also with the hola action of revealing the hidden drawing I mean something like my architecture, despite having a strong esthetic aspect, has also a more deep hidden sense, that has to be reveal. During my training process as architect.
