Hi I am Eva, I'm 19, architect student at the University of Alicante and proud member of Let's Five.

WHICH TYPE OF ARCHITECT DO I WANT TO BECOME?

These days (as everyone) I’ve been thinking about which type of architect do I want to become and I think it is quite a difficult question to answer right now, I mean, I know what I don’t want to become, which I think it is quite important, but I still have a very little or lacking idea of what I want to become, that’s why I’m wearing an uncertainty mask.

So, to get closer to my personal expectations as a future architect, I have had to look at the mirror and also look at the world. Everyone knows the situation that Architecture is living nowadays and how dark the future seems for those brave or crazy people like us, that’s why I have decided just a little part of my future me: I want to be an architect who doesn’t lose her thrill and keeps the joy of being an architect, doesn’t matter where her job will take her or the circumstances, because looking at the mirror she will always recognize her own style. Although I’m aware I can’t not make an architecture just for myself, I don`t want to, I know I have to find a middle way between my desires and the costumer necessity, and this is the reason of the black and white photos, representing the harmony between the architect and the world (the atmosphere).

And well I know this is a very long way of reflection but I don’t have any hurries , I’m aware it is important to start thinking about it now but I know me, and I’m sure it will take me many years to find myself as an architect.
